Thinking Objects GmbH is a part of the Germany based Topalis group. The Topalis group of companies is a system integration expert with a strong consulting background. Topalis covers IT competence from process analysis over concepts up to IT operation and support. The actual work is done within the operative companies one of them being Thinking Objects GmbH.

Thinking Objects GmbH is the origin of the Topalis group. It was funded 1994 by Markus Klingspor and Thomas Uhl. The companies focuses on support, operation, IT security and service around networks and infrastructure.

From the early beginning, Thinking Objects has been a pioneer in Internet technology. Proven by owning one of the rare international two-letter domains (to.com) and by using and contributing to Linux since the early days of Kernel 1.x.
